ITSLIQUID Group is pleased to announce the opening of A NEW CIRCLE IN THE SPIRAL OF THE MIND,
a solo exhibition by RESETIVISM/Irena Vujanovic, curated by Luca Curci and coordinated by Amaride Ferrante, that will open in Rome, at Medina Art Gallery, on October 31 starting at 06.00 PM. The exhibition will run until November 06, 2025.
Irena Vujanović, a Serbian artist based in the United States, is a pioneer of an innovative artistic approach known as RESETIVISM, which, after being presented in her homeland, she now brings to Italy for the first time, in Rome. This exhibition offers the public an immersion into a radically contemporary visual language that blends traditional painting and digital art into a powerful and multilayered narrative. RESETIVISM is the name of the new visual and philosophical language developed by Vujanović: an expressive form that “resets” the past to transform it into the present, layering color and pixels, memory and matter, poetry and technology. Through works created with digital tools yet deeply rooted in painting, the artist redefines visual communication in the age of social media and instant information.
The series showcased in the exhibition takes its title from a poem by the artist herself – “Novi krug u spirali uma” (A New Circle in the Spiral of the Mind) – a powerful reflection on cyclical renewal, where words and images merge to articulate the ongoing evolution of identity and perception. In this poetic and visual dialogue, Vujanović explores the idea that nothing in the human experience is ever truly linear or final. Instead, life unfolds in spirals: returning, reframing, and reawakening. Each artwork in the series represents a new beginning – a palimpsest of silences, memories, and intuitions. The layering of digital and painterly elements mirrors the emotional and psychological layers we carry within us. Vujanović’s images become a form of visual poetry, capable of expressing what language alone cannot: the invisible shifts in thought, the silent echoes of memory, the subtle metamorphoses of consciousness. In this way, the series not only blurs the line between poetry and visual art but invites the viewer to enter into a meditative space – one where perception is fluid, time is elastic, and transformation is constant. It is an introspective journey through the spirals of the mind, where each “new circle” marks both a return and a departure.
