ITSLIQUID Group, along with YMX Arts, is excited to present the 18th edition of LONDON
CONTEMPORARY ART FAIR 2026, taking place from July 10 to July 23, 2026, at
ELEMENTS Contemporary Art Space in London. The international exhibition brings
together contemporary artists from around the world, creating a dynamic platform where
artistic research investigates the fluid evolution of identity within the ever-changing
landscapes of contemporary society.
LONDON CONTEMPORARY ART FAIR 2026 invites a profound exploration of the human
experience through the relationship between body and space, reflecting on the
hybridisation of identities within the cultural, physical, social, and urban landscapes of
contemporary society. Inspired by London's unique atmosphere, the exhibition examines
how the city's dynamic energy shapes personal narratives and collective experiences,
influencing how individuals perceive themselves and interact with the world around them.
Through diverse artistic practices, the artists investigate the connections between desires,
needs, and fears, revealing the transformative processes that shape human existence. In
this context, the exhibition becomes a space of metamorphosis, where memory,
perception, and emotion converge, creating a dialogue between personal identity and the
collective urban environment.
The exhibition opens with Meryem Dogan's “Child”, where a solitary figure sits atop a
monumental brain, transforming memory and consciousness into a symbolic landscape.
Suspended between innocence and awareness, the work investigates the foundations of
identity, presenting the mind as a space of exploration where personal narratives begin to
emerge. This reflection on the construction of the self expands in Georgina M. Cox's “Deer
Logic”, where human and animal features merge within a powerful symbolic portrait.
Through this hybrid figure, the artist explores the coexistence of instinct and reason,
revealing identity as a fluid territory shaped by both cultural experience and primal
connections to nature.
The dialogue continues through Kevin Su's “We are the works series - The Echoes of
Home”, a dynamic composition where countless forms converge into a vibrant cosmic
environment. Moving between memory, imagination, and collective belonging, the work
reflects on the invisible connections that unite individuals across geographical and cultural
boundaries. The artist transforms the concept of home into an evolving network of
relationships and experiences, suggesting identity as a constantly expanding constellation
shaped by encounters and exchanges.
This exploration of human connection finds a celebratory dimension in Renata Rolefes'
“The Gesture of Joy”, where colour, expression, and movement converge in a vibrant
affirmation of life. Through the intensity of the portrait, the artist investigates joy as a
transformative force capable of transcending social and cultural differences, highlighting
the body as a vehicle for emotional expression and collective participation. Completing this
visual journey, Martin Erich Vogiel's “Fairground” immerses viewers in a dynamic and
multilayered environment where figures, gestures, and fragmented forms dissolve into a
continuous flow of movement. The work evokes the complexity of contemporary urban life,
transforming a familiar social setting into a metaphor for the constant negotiation between
individual experience and collective reality.
Together, these artists offer interconnected perspectives on memory, instinct, belonging,
emotion, and spatial experience, revealing how contemporary identities emerge through
ongoing processes of transformation and interaction. Moving between introspection and
collective narratives, their works create a compelling dialogue between the inner
dimensions of human consciousness and the evolving cultural, social, and urban
landscapes of the contemporary world.
